Bayern Munich are reportedly increasing their interest in Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown as they assess defensive options for the future.
According to Sport1, the German champions are seriously considering a move for the 22-year-old and have already held an initial meeting with the player’s representatives.
Bayern’s interest comes amid concerns over Alphonso Davies’ recent injury problems. The Canadian left-back suffered a cruciate ligament injury that kept him out from late March until December, and he has since missed further matches with two muscle issues.
Davies remains unavailable, leaving Bayern to consider whether they need stronger long-term depth on the left side of defence.
Brown has been on Bayern’s radar for some time. Reports from autumn 2025 claimed he was already being monitored closely at Sabener Strasse after his rise at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The defender is under contract with Frankfurt until 2030, which puts his club in a strong negotiating position. Frankfurt were previously said to value Brown at around €60 million, making any deal expensive.
For Bayern, the decision will depend on both Davies’ fitness situation and Frankfurt’s willingness to negotiate. Brown is highly rated, but a fee of that size would require serious commitment from the Bundesliga giants.
Still, Bayern’s early contact with the player’s camp suggests their interest is becoming more concrete. If Davies’ injury issues continue, Brown could become one of the club’s main defensive targets for the summer.
