Huracán Late Surge Sinks Rosario Central After Early Copetti Shock
CA Huracán produced a late comeback to defeat CA Rosario Central 3–1 on Liga Profesional Apertura matchday 14, overturning an early setback with two goals in the final minutes.
The visitors struck almost immediately. In the 2nd minute, Enzo Copetti finished off an early move for Rosario Central, converting after being set up by Enzo Giménez to make it 1–0 and silence the home side.
Huracán gradually grew into the game and were rewarded in first-half stoppage time. Deep into added time, at 45+3 minutes, Jordy Caicedo held his nerve from the penalty spot to level the score at 1–1, sending the sides into the break on equal terms.

The second half hinged on key substitutions. Huracán introduced Juan Bisanz in the 59th minute for Óscar Romero, a change that proved decisive. After both teams refreshed their lineups, Bisanz broke the deadlock in the 85th minute, striking to put Huracán 2–1 up and flip the momentum firmly in the hosts’ favour.
Huracán then sealed the points right at the end. In the 88th minute, defender Hugo Nervo came on for Óscar Cortés, and just two minutes later he made an instant impact. In the 90th minute, Nervo finished a move created by Bisanz, who supplied the assist, to extend the lead to 3–1 and complete a dramatic turnaround.
