Palmer at the Double as Luton Town See Off Rotherham in League One

Kasey Palmer delivered a first-half brace as Luton Town FC claimed a controlled 2–0 victory away to Rotherham United FC in League One action on matchday 40.

The visitors made a sharp start and were ahead inside eight minutes. Shayden Morris broke Rotherham’s defensive line and squared for Palmer, who finished clinically to put Luton 1–0 up and settle any early nerves.

Rotherham struggled to create clear chances in response and their frustration was underlined on 43 minutes when James Clarke received a yellow card. Moments later, Luton punished the hosts again. On 44 minutes, Morris once more turned provider, setting up Palmer to double the advantage with his second goal of the night, giving Luton a commanding 2–0 lead at half-time.
