Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to let Alexander Nubel leave the club once his loan spell at Stuttgart ends this summer.
According to Sky Germany, the German international is no longer viewed as part of Bayern’s immediate plans, with Manuel Neuer set to remain the club’s first-choice goalkeeper until 2027.
Nubel has enjoyed an impressive season at Stuttgart under Sebastian Hoeness. His performances have played an important role in the club’s push into the Bundesliga top four, strengthening his reputation after a productive loan spell.
However, his long-term future at Bayern remains blocked by Neuer’s continued presence. With the veteran goalkeeper staying in Munich, Bayern are now open to finding a new solution for Nubel when he returns at the end of the campaign.
A permanent transfer is one option, but another loan move has not been ruled out. Bayern are expected to assess the market before making a final decision.
For Nubel, the priority will be regular first-team football. After proving himself at Stuttgart, he is unlikely to want another season as a backup, especially at this stage of his career.
The situation now points toward a summer exit, with Bayern willing to sanction a move if the right offer or loan proposal arrives.
