Michael Olise’s outstanding form at Bayern Munich has reportedly attracted major interest from Liverpool, who are said to have submitted a huge offer for the French winger.
According to Fichajes, Liverpool have made a €170 million bid for Olise as they look to rebuild their attack under Arne Slot. The figure is so significant that it could give Bayern something to think about, even though the German champions have no desire to sell.
Olise has become one of Bayern’s most important players under Vincent Kompany. The 24-year-old has developed into a key figure in the team’s attack, bringing goals, assists, creativity and the ability to decide big matches.

Bayern’s position has been clear for some time. Olise is seen as a central part of the club’s long-term future and has repeatedly been described internally as not for sale.
However, an offer worth €170m would change the conversation. Such a fee would make Olise one of the most expensive players in football history and give Bayern major financial flexibility in the transfer market.
Liverpool’s interest is easy to understand. After a disappointing season, Slot is expected to reshape his forward line, and Olise fits the profile the Reds are looking for. He offers pace, one-on-one threat, technical quality and end product in decisive moments.
For Bayern, though, selling him would be a major sporting risk. Olise was one of the club’s standout performers last season alongside Harry Kane and Luis Diaz, while his Champions League displays helped confirm his status as one of Europe’s most exciting attacking players.
A departure would leave a huge gap in Bayern’s attack, both in terms of quality and structure. While the money could help fund a major rebuild, losing a player of Olise’s importance would go against the club’s current sporting plan.
For now, a transfer still appears unlikely. Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen recently made the club’s stance clear, saying: “We will have him with us for many years to come.”
Olise is also in an ideal position in Munich. Under Kompany, he has taken the next step in his career and become a genuine world-class talent. A €170m offer may be tempting, but Bayern’s priority remains keeping him at the heart of their future.
