Ten-Man Stuttgart Snatch Dramatic Late Draw at Hoffenheim in Six-Goal Thriller

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart shared the points in a breathtaking 3–3 draw on Bundesliga Matchday 32, with the visitors rescuing a result in stoppage time despite being reduced to ten men.

Hoffenheim struck early in Sinsheim. In the 7th minute, Andrej Kramarić opened the scoring, finishing after neat work from Fisnik Asllani to make it 1–0. Stuttgart responded in the 20th minute when Chris Führich levelled, converting after a setup from Ramon Hendriks.

The hosts hit back quickly. Just four minutes later, Bazoumana Touré restored Hoffenheim’s lead with a 24th-minute strike, putting his side 2–1 up. After the break, Kramarić grabbed his second of the afternoon in the 49th minute, this time assisted by Touré, seemingly putting Hoffenheim in control at 3–1.

Stuttgart turned to their bench, introducing Ermedin Demirovic and Maximilian Mittelstädt in the 55th minute. The change paid off as Demirovic pulled one back in the 64th minute, finishing a move created by Jamie Leweling to cut the deficit to 3–2.

The visitors’ task became even harder when Atakan Karazor was shown a red card in the 69th minute, after earlier yellow cards for Andrej Kramarić and Bilal El Khannouss. Bernardo and Ozan Kabak were also booked for Hoffenheim in a tense second half.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Stuttgart kept pushing. In the 86th minute, Tiago Tomás entered the fray for Leweling, and the substitute delivered in the dying moments. In the 90+5th minute, Tomás struck the dramatic equaliser to secure a 3–3 draw for the visitors.

Both coaches used their benches extensively in the closing stages, with Hoffenheim introducing Max Moerstedt, Alexander Prass, Kevin Akpoguma and Muhammed Damar. Detailed information beyond goals, cards and substitutions was not available at the time of writing.
