Agalarov Brace Not Enough as Baltika Hit Back Late in RFPL Thriller

FK Dinamo Makhachkala and FK Baltika Kaliningrad shared the points in an entertaining 2–2 draw in the RFPL on 5 April 2026, as a Gamid Agalarov brace was cancelled out by a late response from the visitors.

Baltika struck first on 13 minutes. Brayan Gil finished off an early move for the Kaliningrad side, turning in a pass from Ilya Petrov to give the visitors a 1–0 lead and put Dinamo immediately under pressure.

Dinamo’s response came after the interval. In the 53rd minute, Temirkan Sundukov found Agalarov, who levelled the score at 1–1 and swung the momentum towards the hosts. Baltika introduced Ivan Belikov at half-time in place of Tenton Yenne, but the substitute later went into the referee’s book with a yellow card in the 58th minute.
