Julian Hall made MLS history by becoming the youngest player to score a hat trick, achieving the feat at just 18 years and 50 days.

The New York Red Bulls academy product surpassed the previous record held by Ricardo Pepi and continued his breakout season with a standout performance against Columbus Crew.

Hall opened the scoring early, added a second before halftime, and completed his hat trick in the second half by reacting quickest to a loose ball in the box to secure the win.

The teenager now has nine goals and two assists this season, underlining his rapid rise and importance to a Red Bulls side revitalized under head coach Michael Bradley.

Before this campaign, Hall had managed just three goals in 38 appearances across previous seasons, making his current form a major leap forward and a key highlight for the club.
