Botafogo and Internacional Share Spoils in Four-Goal Série A Draw
Botafogo FR and SC Internacional played out a lively 2–2 draw on matchday 13 of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, with all four goals coming in a frantic second half on Saturday, 25 April 2026.
After a goalless first half in which the main incidents were yellow cards for Arthur Cabral and Franclim Carvalho of Botafogo and Félix Torres for Internacional, the contest exploded into life after the interval.
Botafogo struck first in the 54th minute. Danilo dos Santos de Oliveira opened the scoring, finishing a move created by substitute Mateo Ponte to give the hosts a 1–0 lead. Internacional responded with a triple change on 62 minutes, introducing Paulinho, Rafael Borré and Alan Patrick, and later adding Matheus Bahia.
The closing stages were increasingly physical, with further bookings for Victor Gabriel and Clayton of Internacional and Correa of Botafogo, but neither side could find a decisive goal.
