Krylya Sovetov stun Lokomotiv with 2–0 home win in RFPL
PFK Krylya Sovetov Samara claimed an impressive 2–0 home victory over FK Lokomotiv Moskva on RFPL matchday 27, with decisive strikes from Ivan Oleynikov and Amar Rahmanović sealing the points.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 31st minute. Ivan Oleynikov found the breakthrough for Krylya Sovetov, putting them 1–0 up and shifting the momentum firmly in Samara’s favour. Lokomotiv’s frustration was already visible, with Zelimkhan Bakaev booked in the 17th minute as tempers began to rise.
Lokomotiv made a double change at half-time, introducing Sergey Pinyaev and Nikita Saltykov, but the adjustments failed to prevent Krylya Sovetov from extending their lead. In the 53rd minute, Amar Rahmanović doubled the advantage, finishing a move set up by Mihajlo Banjac to make it 2–0.
The Moscow side struggled to find a response and instead collected a series of yellow cards. Daniil Chevardin, Aleksandr Silyanov and César Montes were all cautioned as the visitors battled in vain to get back into the match. Krylya Sovetov also went into the referee’s book, with Fernando Costanza, Artem Shumanskiy and Nikolai Rasskazov all receiving yellow cards in a physically contested encounter.
Both coaches turned to their benches in the second half. For the hosts, Jimmy Marín and Ilzat Akhmetov were introduced just after the hour mark, while later changes saw Artem Shumanskiy, Kirill Stolbov and Ivan Lepskiy come on to help see out the result. Lokomotiv brought on Nikolay Komlichenko and Lucas Vera in search of a route back, but the home defence held firm.
The match finished 2–0, a result that strengthens Krylya Sovetov’s position in the RFPL standings and leaves Lokomotiv with work to do in the closing weeks of the regular season. More detailed statistical data and full lineups were not immediately available at the time of writing.
