Sharp Strike Earns Doncaster Late-Season Point Against Stevenage

Billy Sharp stepped off the bench to rescue a point for Doncaster Rovers FC in a 1–1 draw with Stevenage FC, as the League One season moved into its penultimate weekend on matchday 45.

Doncaster manager reacted decisively at half-time, making a triple change during the interval. Sharp replaced Elliot Lee, Jamie Sterry came on for Thomas Nixon, and Hakeeb Adelakun entered in place of Sean Grehan as the hosts searched for a response.

The switches paid off midway through the second half. In the 69th minute, Adelakun provided the assist and Sharp supplied the finish to level the match at 1–1, completing a well-worked move and restoring parity for Doncaster.
