Bautista Hat-Trick Fires Eibar Past Albacete in Segunda División Rout

Jon Bautista delivered a clinical hat-trick as SD Eibar swept aside Albacete Balompié 3–0 in a commanding away performance on matchday 37 of the Segunda División.

The visitors struck early and decisively. In the 10th minute, Bautista opened the scoring for Eibar, finishing after being set up by Javi Martón to make it 1–0. Just two minutes later, the forward doubled his tally, this time converting a pass from José Corpas to put Albacete in serious trouble at 0–2 with barely a quarter of an hour played.

Albacete struggled to respond before the break and picked up a first yellow card in the 39th minute when Jonathan Gomez went into the book. Coach adjustments came immediately after half-time, with Gomez and Martín Alejandro Fernández replaced by Álex Rubio and Jefté Betancor at the restart in an attempt to change the game’s dynamics.

Eibar, however, remained in control and added a third in the 70th minute. Bautista completed his hat-trick, finishing a move assisted by substitute Álvaro Rodríguez to push the scoreline to 3–0 and effectively settle the contest.

Albacete made further changes, bringing on Víctor San Bartolomé, Loren Aguado and later Dani Bernabéu, but could not find a route back into the match. Rubio collected a yellow card in the 75th minute, underlining a frustrated evening for the hosts. Eibar managed the closing stages comfortably, with Jon Magunazelaia booked in the 86th minute after coming on for Ander, while Oier Llorente also featured off the bench.
