Siwe Strike Gives Rubin Kazan Narrow Victory at Dinamo Moskva
FK Rubin Kazan claimed an important 1–0 away win over FK Dinamo Moskva in RFPL regular-season action on matchday 26, thanks to an early goal from Jacques Siwe.
The decisive moment arrived in the 19th minute. Rubin capitalised on an attacking move when Nazmi Gripshi picked out Jacques Siwe, and the forward finished to put the visitors 1–0 up. The goal stood as the only strike of the match.
Rubin picked up the first booking of the evening when Denil Maldonado was shown a yellow card in the 26th minute. Dinamo’s Nicolas Marichal followed him into the referee’s book shortly before half-time, receiving a caution in the 42nd minute as the hosts tried to disrupt Rubin’s rhythm.
Chasing an equaliser, Dinamo Moskva made a double substitution on 52 minutes, introducing Timofey Marinkin for Danil Glebov and Arthur Gomes for Yaroslav Gladyshev. The reshuffle continued in the 64th minute, with Luis Chávez replacing Daniil Fomin and Ivan Sergeev coming on for Anton Miranchuk, signalling a more attacking approach from the home side.
Rubin responded with their own changes on 68 minutes, sending on Daler Kuzyaev for Ruslan Bezrukov and Daniil Kuznetsov for assist provider Nazmi Gripshi, aiming to freshen the midfield and protect their lead. Dinamo played their final card in the 74th minute as Ulvi Babaev came on for Bitelo.
In the closing stages, Rubin looked to consolidate. Jacques Siwe made way for Daniil Motorin in the 77th minute, before late substitutions in the 87th minute saw Dmitriy Kabutov replace Ignacio Saavedra and Konstantin Nizhegorodov come on for Ilya Rozhkov.
Rubin Kazan successfully defended their slender advantage to the final whistle, leaving Dinamo Moskva without a goal despite a series of second-half changes. Detailed statistics and further match events beyond the listed goal, bookings and substitutions were not available at the time of writing.
