Alanzinho Strike Earns Moreirense Narrow Win Over Estoril

Moreirense FC edged GD Estoril Praia 1–0 on Monday night, with an early finish from Alanzinho proving decisive in their Primeira Liga Matchday 30 clash.

The breakthrough arrived in the 12th minute when Alanzinho put the hosts in front. The Brazilian forward finished off a move created by Afonso Assis, who provided the assist to give Moreirense an early advantage. That goal would ultimately stand as the only score of the game.

Estoril responded after the interval with a series of changes aimed at finding a route back into the match. Peixinho made way for João Carvalho at half-time, and a double substitution followed in the 53rd minute as Jandro Orellana and Pizzi were replaced by Rafik Guitane and Jordan Holsgrove. Xeka was later withdrawn in the 73rd minute in favour of Alejandro Marqués as the visitors pushed for an equaliser.

Moreirense managed the game by refreshing their own ranks, with Afonso Assis and Kiko Bondoso substituted in the 63rd minute for Yan Maranhão and Cédric Teguia. Landerson later made way for Leandro Santos in the 79th minute, and goalscorer Alanzinho was withdrawn in stoppage time for Jimi Gower.

Estoril’s frustration was reflected in two yellow cards during the closing stages. Ferro was booked in the 72nd minute, and Antef Tsoungui received a caution on 90 minutes as the visitors chased the game.

Despite Estoril’s attempts to turn the tide, Moreirense held firm to preserve their single-goal lead and secure an important home victory in the Primeira Liga. Detailed data on other match events such as shots or possession was not available at the time of writing.
