Stalemate in Lisbon as Casa Pia and Santa Clara Share Goalless Draw

Casa Pia AC and CD Santa Clara were forced to settle for a point apiece in a 0–0 draw on Matchday 30 of the Primeira Liga on 18 April 2026.

The contest, part of the regular season programme, produced no goals but featured a flurry of second-half cautions and a series of tactical substitutions as both coaches tried to tilt the balance.

The first booking arrived in the 58th minute when Santa Clara’s Lucas Soares went into the referee’s notebook. That set the tone for an increasingly stop-start final half-hour. Casa Pia’s Pedro Rosas was cautioned in the 74th minute, followed late on by yellow cards for teammate Claudio Mendes in the 88th minute and, deep into stoppage time, Larra. Santa Clara’s Henrique Silva was also booked in the 90th minute as tempers and tension rose.

Both managers turned to their benches in search of a breakthrough. Casa Pia introduced Claudio Mendes and Lawrence Ofori on 63 minutes, replacing Cassiano and Iyad Mohamed, before Rafael Brito and Joao Marques made way for Sebastián Pérez and Dailon Rocha Livramento in the 73rd minute. Jérémy Livolant was withdrawn late on for Korede Osundina in the 86th minute.

Santa Clara responded with their own changes: Diogo Calila and Darlan Mendes replaced Lucas Soares and José Tavares in the 67th minute, followed by a double change on 74 minutes as Gonçalo Paciência and Vinícius made way for Luis Fernando and Brenner. Gabriel Silva was the final player substituted, with Welinton entering in the 85th minute.

With neither side able to find a decisive moment in front of goal, the match finished 0–0. Detailed data on chances and other match events beyond cards and substitutions was not available at the time of writing.
