Boyé’s Stoppage-Time Strike Denies Real Sociedad in Six-Goal Thriller with Alavés

Real Sociedad de Fútbol and Deportivo Alavés produced a chaotic 3–3 draw in a gripping Basque derby on La Liga matchday 31, as Lucas Boyé struck deep into stoppage time to snatch a point for the visitors.

The tone was set early in San Sebastián with an own goal after just three minutes. Real Sociedad defender Duje Ćaleta-Car inadvertently turned the ball into his own net to gift Alavés a 1–0 lead.

The hosts responded swiftly. In the 14th minute, Luka Sučić levelled the score at 1–1, finishing after good work from Ander Barrenetxea, who provided the assist. Alavés regained the advantage on 24 minutes through Ibrahim Diabaté, whose strike made it 2–1 to the visitors.
