Robertson and Leonard Trade Blows as Peterborough and Cardiff Share the Points

Peterborough United FC and Cardiff City FC played out a 1–1 draw in League One on matchday 42, with both goals arriving in a frantic spell early in the second half.

After a cagey opening period that brought more bookings than clear chances, Cardiff’s David Turnbull was shown a yellow card on 42 minutes, followed by a caution for Peterborough’s Harry Leonard just before the interval. Cardiff managerially reshaped their midfield at half-time, introducing Ronan Kpakio and Alex Robertson for Calum Chambers and Turnbull. The changes paid off almost immediately. In the 48th minute, Robertson broke the deadlock with a regular-time strike to put Cardiff 1–0 up.

Peterborough’s Kyrell Lisbie received a yellow card on 90 minutes as the match finished on a tense note but without further scoring.
