UD Almería produced a late turnaround to defeat CD Leganés 2–1 on matchday 34 of the Segunda División, with substitute Nico Melamed scoring a dramatic winner in stoppage time.
Leganés drew first blood after 13 minutes, when Gonzalo Melero finished a move set up by Marvel to give the visitors a 1–0 lead. The advantage, however, lasted less than 20 minutes. In the 31st minute, Sergio Arribas levelled the contest for Almería, converting after good work from Álex Muñoz to make it 1–1.
The visitors picked up early bookings through Sebastián Figueredo on 21 minutes and Seydouba Cisse shortly before the break, reflecting a hard-fought first half. After the interval, both coaches turned to their benches in search of a breakthrough.
