Early Bologna Blitz Edges Cremonese in Fiery Serie A Clash

Bologna FC 1909 made a blistering start and then survived a tense finale to defeat US Cremonese 2–1 on matchday 31 of Serie A.

Cremonese struggled to find a way back before the break and their frustration was underlined when Youssef Maleh was booked on the stroke of half-time. The hosts responded with a triple substitution at the interval, introducing Morten Thorsby, Warren Bondo and David Okereke in a bid to change the game, and later adding Martín Payero shortly after the restart.
