FC Schalke 04 produced one of their most dominant displays of the 2. Bundesliga season, easing to a 4–1 win over SC Preußen Münster on matchday 30. A strong first-half performance and incisive attacking after the break put the game beyond the visitors long before the final whistle.

Schalke broke the deadlock in the 36th minute. Kenan Karaman finished a move created by Dejan Ljubicic, giving the hosts a deserved 1–0 lead. Their advantage doubled just before half-time when Jannis Heuer turned the ball into his own net in the 45th minute, compounding Münster’s frustration.
