Olusegun Strike Earns Ten-Man Nizhny Novgorod a Point Against Dinamo Moskva

FK Nizhny Novgorod showed resilience to claim a 1–1 home draw against FK Dinamo Moskva in RFPL regular-season action on Matchday 25, despite finishing the match with ten men.

Dinamo struck first in the 22nd minute. Defender Nicolas Marichal opened the scoring, finishing a move created by Bitelo, whose assist put the visitors 1–0 up and briefly in control.

Nizhny Novgorod responded strongly and found their equaliser in the 34th minute. Olakunle Olusegun levelled the match with a well-taken goal, set up by Renaldo Cephas, restoring parity at 1–1 and shifting the momentum back towards the hosts.

The match grew more heated as the first half progressed. Adrián Balboa received a yellow card in the 40th minute, the first of several bookings for Nizhny Novgorod. At half-time, the hosts introduced Andrey Ivlev for Matvey Urvantsev, looking to stabilise the side.

Ivlev himself was cautioned in the 52nd minute, and just three minutes later Olusegun went into the referee’s book. The key turning point arrived in the 74th minute, when Olusegun picked up a second booking and was sent off with a yellow-red card, leaving Nizhny Novgorod to navigate the closing stages a player down.

Both coaches turned to their benches in the second half. Dinamo introduced Timofey Marinkin, Ulvi Babaev and Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu around the 64th–65th minute mark, later adding Ivan Sergeev in the 78th minute, while Nizhny Novgorod brought on Daniil Lesovoy, Vadim Pigas, Nikita Ermakov and late substitute Mamadou Maiga.

The final minutes featured more disciplinary action, with yellow cards shown to Sven Karič and Dinamo’s Babaev in stoppage time, but neither side could find a winner. The match finished 1–1, with all available key events recorded and no further detailed statistics provided.
