Donyell Malen delivered a clinical display in front of goal as AS Roma powered past AC Pisa 1909 with a 3–0 win on Serie A matchday 32, tightening their grip on a strong league position in the run-in.
Roma made a flying start, taking the lead after just three minutes. Malen struck early to put the hosts 1–0 up, immediately placing Pisa on the back foot and setting the tone for a one-sided evening in the capital.
The Dutch forward doubled Roma’s advantage two minutes before half-time. In the 43rd minute, Malen finished off a move created by AS Roma defender Devyne Rensch, whose assist helped send the home side into the break with a commanding 2–0 lead.
Malen completed his hat-trick shortly after the restart. On 52 minutes, he struck again, this time set up by Matias Soule, to make it 3–0 and effectively end the contest against a Pisa side that struggled to find a way back.
The visitors’ frustration showed early when Idrissa Touré received a yellow card in the 21st minute. Roma’s Zeki Çelik went into the book on 50 minutes, but the disciplinary incidents had little impact on the overall flow of a match controlled by the hosts.
Both coaches turned to their benches in the second half. Roma introduced Stephan El Shaarawy at half-time for Lorenzo Pellegrini and later gave minutes to Neil El Aynaoui, Robinio Vaz, Angeliño and Lorenzo Venturino. Pisa responded with a series of changes around the hour and into the final stages, including Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and Rafiu Durosinmi, but the away side could not alter the scoreline.
Beyond the goals, bookings and substitutions, detailed match statistics and further events were not provided. The result nonetheless underlines Roma’s attacking strength as they continue their Serie A campaign, while Pisa leave the capital empty-handed.
