Bouah’s Late Equaliser Rescues Carrarese in 2–2 Thriller with Pescara

Carrarese Calcio and Delfino Pescara 1936 shared the points in an entertaining 2–2 draw on Serie B matchday 35, with Devid Bouah striking late to deny the visitors all three points.

The hosts made the brighter start and were rewarded in the 19th minute. Filippo Distefano finished off a well-worked move, converting after good service from Niccolò Belloni to give Carrarese a 1–0 lead.

Pescara responded before the break. In the 35th minute, Gaetano Letizia levelled the score at 1–1, finishing a move created by Lorenzo Insigne. The equaliser shifted the momentum towards the visitors, who went into half-time on level terms. The first period also saw a yellow card for Gennaro Acampora in the 22nd minute, while Carrarese’s Fabio Ruggeri went into the book on the stroke of half-time.

After the interval, Pescara completed the turnaround. On 61 minutes, Acampora found the net to make it 2–1 to the away side, capitalising to put Carrarese under serious pressure heading into the final half-hour.

The hosts turned to their bench, with Distefano replaced by Mattia Finotto just before Pescara’s second goal. Carrarese’s pressure finally told in the 84th minute. Bouah struck the crucial equaliser, making it 2–2 after being set up by substitute Rouhi to secure a point for the home side.
