Adorante Brace Fires Venezia Past Juve Stabia in Serie B Clash

Andrea Adorante delivered a decisive brace as Venezia FC defeated SS Juve Stabia 3–1 in a Serie B matchday 33 encounter on 6 April 2026.

The hosts were gifted the opening goal in the 39th minute when Juve Stabia defender Andrea Giorgini turned the ball into his own net, shortly after having been booked in the 36th minute. That error put Venezia 1–0 up and shifted the momentum toward the home side.

Juve Stabia responded just before the break. In first-half stoppage time (45+1), Lorenzo Carissoni levelled the score at 1–1 to seemingly send the visitors into the interval on equal terms.

However, Venezia hit back almost immediately. Deep into stoppage time at the end of the first half (45+3), Adorante restored the lead for the hosts with a timely finish, giving Venezia a 2–1 advantage at half-time.

In the second half, Juve Stabia made a number of changes in search of a route back into the game, including replacing Giorgini with Marco Varnier on 57 minutes. Venezia, meanwhile, managed the contest and looked for the moment to kill it off.

That decisive moment arrived in the 74th minute, when Adorante struck again. The forward made it 3–1 after being set up by Gianluca Busio, whose pass provided the assist that sealed the victory.

Busio, Michael Svoboda and Richie Sagrado were all cautioned for Venezia in the second half, while Juve Stabia saw yellow cards for Giorgini and Marco Bellich before the interval. Both coaches turned to their benches late on, with Venezia introducing the likes of Matteo Dagasso, Antonio Casas and Bjarki Bjarkason to see out the result.
