Casadei Winner Lifts Torino Past Verona in Tight Serie A Clash

Torino FC claimed an important 2–1 home victory over Hellas Verona FC on Saturday, with Cesare Casadei striking early in the second half to secure all three points on Serie A matchday 32.

The hosts started sharply and moved in front after just six minutes. Giovanni Simeone finished off a well-worked move, converting after a setup by Marcus Pedersen to give Torino an early 1–0 lead.

Verona grew into the game and found a response before the break. In the 38th minute, Kieron Bowie levelled the score at 1–1, finishing a move initiated by goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò, whose involvement in the buildup earned him the assist.

Torino restored their advantage soon after half-time. Five minutes into the second period, Casadei struck what proved to be the winner, making it 2–1 following an assist from Rafa Obrador. From that point on, the home side focused on protecting their narrow lead.
