Wycombe’s afternoon had already taken an early twist when Nathan Lowe was replaced by Fred Onyedinma in the 14th minute. The hosts picked up the first booking of the game as Cauley Woodrow saw yellow on 10 minutes, while Blackpool’s Oliver Casey was cautioned just after the half-hour mark.
